Some folks may read this and shake their head because they never had to go without Chick-fil-A’s spicy chicken biscuit, but there will be others who read it with a raised eyebrow.
Because, honestly, Chick-fil-A does not do chicken poorly. That’s how the chain has become so popular. But, it also rarely has a new offering, and for a large portion of the country, the idea of a spicy chicken biscuit is new or, at best, a distant memory.
And to that portion of the country, there’s good news, because according to multiple reports, after shelving the spicy chicken biscuit — mostly — Chick-fil-A is bringing it back after a six-year hiatus on April 25.
It reads as though it has a fairly simple, yet delicious, setup with a cut of spicy chicken on a “fresh buttermilk biscuit.”
Of course, there are reportedly some Chick-fil-A restaurants that never lost this intriguing offering, and the people who frequent those are the people who are shaking their head at the folks who are gearing up for this drop on Monday.
But, there are a whole lot of people, too, who are going to be checking Monday to see if their favorite Chick-fil-A is among the 700 nationwide who are going to be adding it to the menu.
There is another interesting menu addition coming Monday, too. And this one is truly a new creation as the “Cloudberry Sunjoy” will be added to menus.
No clue what a “cloudberry” is — Chick-fil-A says it is “grown in colder climates of the U.S. and Canada and has a crossover flavor that is somewhere between a red currant and a raspberry” — but this drink will reportedly mix “cloudberry” and cherry blossom flavors with the popular Sunjoy, which is a mix of sweet tea and lemonade.
