U.S. stocks weakened Wednesday as investors awaited minutes from the Federal Reserve’s latest meeting.
The S&P 500 edged down 0.2%, while the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average weakened 0.3%, or about 110 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.2%. That puts the technology-heavy index on pace to decline for a third consecutive day amid a rise in bond yields.
