McDonald’s is gifting holiday joy this season by bringing back a sweet treat: the Holiday Pie.
The fast food chain is offering the dessert through early January at select locations across the U.S. Some Twitter users shared their excitement about finding the treat in Texas and other states, while others tweeted how they were waiting for the pastry to arrive.
McDonald’s said the pastry features a vanilla custard in a flaky, buttery crust that is glazed with sugar and topped with rainbow sprinkles.
Customers can use the McDonald’s app to see if the pie is at a location near them.

The Holiday Pie adds to McDonald’s other holiday items like the”Mariah Menu,” part of a partnership with Mariah Carey, debuting on Dec. 13. The menu features a select free item each day through Christmas Eve with a $1 minimum purchase on McDonald’s mobile app.
“Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true,” Carey said in a statement.
Last month, the infamous McRib made its return to McDonald’s locations nationwide for a limited time.
