A Massachussetts cannabis company went all out for National Brownie Day by baking an 850-pound pot brownie, making what is believed to be “the largest THC-infused brownie ever made.”
MariMed Inc. said the massive sweet treat is 3-feet-by-3-feet square and 15 inches tall, weighing in at a total of 850 pounds. It also contains 20,000 mg of THC.
The brownie’s additional ingredients include 1,344 eggs, 250 pounds of sugar, 212 pounds of butter, 122 pounds of cocoa powder, 81 pounds of flour, 5.3 pounds of vanilla extract, three pounds of salt and two pounds of baking powder, according to USA Today.
The brownie was also made to kick off the company’s line of new cannabis-infused edibles called Bubby’s Baked.
Guinness World Records previously listed the biggest pot brownie ever baked weighing in at 243 pounds, according to USA Today.
A spokesperson for MariMed told The Associated Press (AP) that the gigantic brownie will be sent to its Middleborough, Mass., dispensary and will ultimately be sold to a medical marijuana patient.
The purchase price for the treat is still being determined, the spokesperson added.
