28,000 pounds of ground beef may have been contaminated with E. Coli, and as a precaution Interstate Meat Dist. Inc. is recalling all of it.

Impacted Kroger products are the one and three pound packages of ground beef 93% at Fred Meyer stores. These products have a use or freeze by date of Jan. 11, 2022.

Albertsons listed its Signature Farms Ground Beef 93% Lean/7% Fat products sold at Albertsons and Safeway in Oregon and Washington. The use or freeze by date is for Jan. 11, 2022.

Walmart’s one pound All Natural Ground Beef 90% lean, 10% fat as well as its one and three pound All Natural Ground Beef 93% lean, 7% fat products are recalled. These have a use or freeze by date of Jan. 11, 2022.

WinCo’s one pound WinCo fresh ground beef sirloin, 90% lean, 10% fat, and one and three pound WinCo fresh ground beef 93% lean, 7% fat products are recalled. Their freeze by dates are Jan. 11, 2022.

This specific incident has been labeled a Class I recall by the CDC.

This means that if anyone uses the product, there is a high chance the person could contract E. Coli.
