The first masks are set to become available in Northern California as soon as Thursday and the program is supposed to be fully in place by early February, according to the White House. This initial round of high-quality masks does not include pediatric sizes. The initial phase of this program will distribute the N95 masks to approximately 100-200 health centers nationwide. HHS and HRSA plan to expand the program to additional health centers in the coming weeks.
