U.S. stocks wavered and bond yields moved down Friday, as investors continued to asses how the Federal Reserve might react to the latest strong inflation report.
The S&P 500 recently traded up less than 0.1%, a day after the broad index fell 1.8%. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.3%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added about 111 points, or 0.3%. All three indexes are on track for weekly gains..
