Pickle lovers, rejoice — Picklesburgh is back in downtown Pittsburgh this year!The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership announced Thursday that the event will be from July 15 to 17. It’s expected that the popular event could expand further to accommodate anticipated crowds. A massive array of “dill-ectable” products and foods will be front and center, but the organization said Picklesburgh will also have a lot more options for pickle fanatics to experience. Expect to see pickle cocktails, pickle beer, pickle juice drinking contest and an abundance of pickle-themed apparel.“Picklesburgh attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year, and we want to ensure that this year is the best yet,” Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership CEO Jeremy Waldrup said in a news release. “As a signature event for the city and region, and with such a dedicated fan base in Pittsburgh, we’re always excited to share the news of its return. So, save the date and get ready for all the fabulous festivities, food, and fun – it’s really going ‘dill-iver!“More Picklesburgh announcements are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
