With the holiday season here and the omicron coronavirus variant spreading, doctors have been encouraging people to get tested for COVID-19 before attending gatherings. But at-home tests are hard to come by.The manager of a Walgreens location in Lancaster said the store is getting two shipments each week, and the tests are flying off the shelves.Other pharmacies WGAL checked are currently out, including several Rite Aid and CVS stores.Chadd Blannett, with Hershey Pharmacy in Dauphin County, is receiving dozens of calls each day about the tests.”We don’t have any. We’re getting rationed amounts from our wholesaler. With every delivery we get, we’re getting as many as we can, but the moment they hit the store they are gone,” Blannett said.
