It’s been less than a week since the new market standard salary was announced, and compensation changes abound at law firms of all sizes across the country. The race is on to match Milbank’s new salary scale, and even boutique firms have realized that the time is now to raise salaries once again.
That’s where real-estate boutique Duval & Stachenfeld — the home of our longtime columnist, Bruce Stachenfeld — comes in. We hear that earlier today, managing partner Terri Adler announced that D&S would be adopting the Milbank scale. In case you’ve forgotten, this is what that salary scale looks like:
Class | Salary |
2021 | $215,000 |
2020 | $225,000 |
2019 | $250,000 |
2018 | $285,000 |
2017 | $325,000 |
2016 | $350,000 |
2015 | $370,000 |
2014+ | $385,000 |
Congratulations to everyone at Duval & Stachenfeld!
Remember everyone, we depend on your tips to stay on top of this stuff. So when your firm matches, please text us (646-820-8477) or email us (subject line: “[Firm Name] Matches Milbank”). Please include the memo if available. You can take a photo of the memo and send it via text or email if you don’t want to forward the original PDF or Word file.
