Morrisville, N.C. — As parking at Raleigh-Durham International Airport fills up quickly, the airport has temporarily reopened its Economy 4 lot.
The ParkRDU Premier, ParkRDU Central and ParkRDU Economy 3 lots are all at 100% capacity, according to RDU’s parking page.
The lot was opened temporarily Thursday morning for guests who did not already reserve a spot online. Economy 4 is only open to drive-up customers at $7 per day, according to RDU.
People can check availability at ParkRDU.com before coming to the airport. There are 17 electronic parking signs at RDU that will help direct drivers.
Travelers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours early for domestic flights and three hours early for international flights.
