Iowa is set to receive more than $51 million to give electric car owners more places to charge up.The U.S. Departments of Transportation and Energy say that’s Iowa’s share of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program.The money must be used for projects directly related to the charging of an electric vehicle.The Biden administration says a second grant program designed to expand charging access in rural and underserved communities will be announced later this year.
