MUSKEGON, MI — It was quite the sight to see if you were driving along I-96 on Monday, Nov. 8 as an iconic diner slowly made it’s 51-mile trek from Grand Rapids to Muskegon.
With its chrome bar stools, pink interior and curved windows, the Pal’s Diner is a time capsule to the 1950s. The diner sat at 6503 28th St. in Cascade Township for 26 years. It was rebranded Dan’s Diner under a new owner in 2017, but closed during the COVID pandemic in 2020.
