Kellogg’s workers reject proposed contract, according to Bloomberg

The union representing striking Kellogg’s workers has reportedly turned down a tentative contract agreement.Bloomberg reports that the workers, totaling 1,400 across four states, overwhelmingly rejected the agreement, which was reached by negotiators last week. The proposed five-year deal preserved cost-of-living increases, included 3% wage increases and expanded benefits for all employees. Workers, including more than 300 at the plant in Landisville, Lancaster County, have been off the job on strike since Oct. 5, 2021.The other Kellogg’s plants where workers are striking are in Nebraska, Michigan and Tennessee.
