Stocks Waver After Jobs Report, Tech Selloff – The Wall Street Journal

U.S. stocks wavered in choppy trading Friday after the January jobs report beat expectations, putting investors on edge about the path of monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve.

The S&P 500 recently fell 0.1%. The tech-focused Nasdaq Composite gained 0.5%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost about 200 points, or 0.6%. All three indexes rose earlier in the session.
